Listings press pack

Everything a directory form asks for, in one place, worded once and reused everywhere. Three properties: Greenwood Upholstery (local listings), Learn to Upholster (craft & resource listings) and Visualiser Pro (AI tool directories). Copy — don't retype.

How to use this with Claude in Chrome

  1. Keep this page open in one tab and the directory-tracker spreadsheet handy.
  2. Pick the next directory in the tracker and open its start URL in a new tab.
  3. Tell Claude: "Fill in this listing form using my press pack in the other tab — this one's for Greenwood Upholstery" (or Learn to Upholster / Visualiser Pro).
  4. You click the captcha and the final submit button — Claude stops and asks before anything is sent. Type any passwords yourself.
  5. Mark the tracker: status, date, login email used — and paste the live link once the listing is approved.

Exact NAP, everywhere. Name, address and phone must match this page to the letter on every listing. Mixed details confuse Google and dilute the value.

One login email. Pick a single address for all directory accounts (pat@greenwoodupholstery.com, or set up a dedicated listings@ alias) and record it in the tracker each time.

Passwords live in your password manager. Never in the tracker, never on this page, never pasted to Claude.

Pace it. Three to five complete, photo-rich submissions a day beats fifty thin ones — and looks natural.

Free tiers only, unless the tracker says a paid one is genuinely worth it.

Fix these while you're at it: Yorkshire.com currently shows your opening hours as Mon–Thu 9–3, Fri 9–2:30 — your own site says Mon–Fri 7:00–16:00. Claim and correct it. A few older listings also give the address as "Mytholmroyd" — standardise on the address block below.

Long description (~220 words)

Greenwood Upholstery is a family-run upholstery workshop at Topland Business Park in Cragg Vale, Hebden Bridge, serving homes and businesses across Mytholmroyd, Todmorden and the wider Calderdale area. The workshop is led by Shaun Greenwood, an AMUSF-accredited master upholsterer with thirty years at the bench. We call ourselves the furniture rescue people because that's the job: deciding what's worth saving, and then saving it properly. We restore, repair and reupholster armchairs, sofas, dining chairs and pieces with sentimental value, using traditional or modern methods as each piece demands — new webbing, springs, foam and stitched edges as well as new fabric. For local businesses we recover café, restaurant, booth, office and venue seating in durable contract fabrics. We're also approved contractors for Haven and Bourne Leisure, with a specialist mobile service for static caravan seating, cushions, pelmets and headboards. Send a few photos and you'll get honest advice and a clear quote — there's an instant photo estimate tool on the website. We also run hands-on beginner upholstery courses at the workshop, and Shaun's complete guide to the craft, The Working Upholsterer's Bible, is published free at learntoupholster.com alongside free fabric calculators and tools. Don't replace the furniture you love — rescue it.

Long description (~210 words)

Learn to Upholster is The Working Upholsterer's Bible published free online — a complete, in-depth reference to the craft of upholstery from a master upholsterer with thirty years at the bench. Most upholstery books tell you what to do and never why. This one puts the reasons back in, and teaches every technique in both its traditional and modern form: webbing, springing, stuffing and stitched edges, foam and cutting plans, deep buttoning, trimming and loose covers. Seven full projects walk through complete pieces step by step, from a drop-in dining seat to a full Chesterfield, and a rare section covers the working workshop itself — pricing, customers and the business year. Alongside the book there's a set of free tools built for real jobs: a fabric yardage calculator, deep-buttoning and box-cushion calculators, a leather hide calculator, foam and cushion spec, piping and bias-strip maths, a free invoice and quote template, and a UK fire regulations checker for upholstered furniture. An "ask the book" search answers questions in the book's own words, and a free AI fabric visualiser shows a chair re-covered in a chosen fabric before anyone lifts a staple. By Shaun Greenwood, AMUSF-accredited master upholsterer at Greenwood Upholstery, Hebden Bridge. Also available in hardback, paperback, Kindle and a wiro-bound workshop edition.
